These include Winterfest Boat Parade, the annual tree lighting ceremony and the Fort Lauderdale Christmas Pageant. Fort Lauderdale Christmas Pageant
This holiday season isn't complete without the annual Christmas pageant. This grand event will lift your spirit and get you in the mood for a fun and festive season. The pageant has been a mainstay of the holiday events in Fort Lauderdale for over 25 years and features inspirational contemporary songs, a musical drama of the nativity and a snow-filled wonderland. Santa on the Beach
The City of Fort Lauderdale welcomes Santa to the beach each year and he'll be toting along a giant bag of candy for the traditional candy giveaway a few days before Christmas. New Year's Eve Downtown Countdown
Ring in the New Year at the free Downtown Countdown event that's held on SW 2nd Street in downtown Fort Lauderdale. The family-friendly event kicks off at 5 pm with an early countdown just for kids at 7 pm. You can enjoy live music and entertainment until 3 am on New Years Day.
